OPPO Reno8 Available For Pre-Orders; Full Specifications Listed At TENAA

OPPO will be unveiling the Reno8 series this week itself in China. The vanilla Reno8 will be tagging alongside the Reno8 Pro and the Reno8 Pro+ model. Some rumors have also suggested the Reno8 SE and the Reno8 Lite launch. However, OPPO has not confirmed the arrival of the affordable Reno8 variants just yet. OPPO has announced the Reno8 launch in China on May 23 and right ahead of the launch, the vanilla Reno8 has gone up for pre-orders at JD.com. Also, the device has been spotted at the Chinese mobile regulatory TENAA along with full specifications.

OPPO Reno8 TENAA Listing Reveals Full Specifications

The OPPO Reno8 5G is listed on the TENAA mobile certification portal with the PGBM10 model number. Notably, the same model number is mentioned on the Chinese retailer website, i.e, JD.com. As mentioned above, the TENAA listing has revealed all the key specifications. The listing shows an octa-core chipset with a 3GHz clock speed. It confirms the vanilla Reno8 will indeed launch with the new-gen Dimensity 1300 chipset. It will be the first handset by OPPO with the latest Dimensity processor.

Just yesterday, OnePlus also unveiled its first Dimensity 1300 chipset-powered handset, i.,e the Nord 2T. With the latest development, it is clear that the OPPO Reno8 will go up against the OnePlus Nord 2T in India and other markets. Along with the processor, the Reno8 TENAA certification listing also reveals an 8GB/12GB RAM configuration. The storage option available could be up to 256GB. It will ship with Android 12 OS along with a custom ColorOS skin.

The OPPO Reno8’s certification listing further hints at an AMOLED display panel. The display will measure 6.43-inches and will support an FHD+ screen resolution. The refresh rate will either be 90Hz or 120Hz. The vanilla Reno8’s camera specification will include three sensors at the back. The main camera on the Reno8 will be a 50MP lens which will be combined with a pair of 2MP lenses.

The selfie sensor packed inside the standard Reno8 will be a 32MP lens, as per the TENAA certification website. Notably, all these features corroborate with all the recent leaks. Additionally, the Reno8 battery capacity listed on TENAA is 2,200 mAh dual-cell. This indicates the handset could be backed with a 4,500 mAh (total capacity) battery. The fast-charging capacity tipped is 80W.
