OPPO Reno8 series is breaking covers soon in the Indian market. The Reno8 Pro is heading alongside the standard Reno8 on July 18 in the Indian market. Both variants have made several sightings online in the last few weeks. Finally, the company itself has announced the upcoming premium mid-tier Reno8 series launch in the country. The brand has also highlighted the Reno8 Pro’s MariSilicon X Imaging NPU which will deliver an immersive photography experience.
OPPO Reno8 Pro 5G, Reno8 Official India Launch Confirmed
The OPPO Reno8 Pro 5G is confirmed to debut this month itself in the Indian market. OPPO has released a series of teasers via its official Twitter handle. OPPO has also updated a dedicated microsite on its website revealing the Reno8 series India launch and the expected hardware. The official teasers have confirmed the Reno8 Pro will be employing the MarisiliconX which is the world’s first 6nm imaging NPU. This dedicated neural processing unit is designed to enhance the overall imaging performance.
One of the tweets shared by the brand also confirms the upcoming Reno8 series will be equipped with the octa-core Dimensity 8100 Max processor for unmatched speeds. Note, OPPO has only confirmed the Reno8 series’s imminent launch in the Indian market.
The exact date is yet to be specified. However, going by the recent reports, there are possibilities the Reno8 Pro and the vanilla Reno8 will be announced on July 18 in the country. Multiple leaks have also suggested the expected pricing of the Reno8 series.
The vanilla Reno8 might have an asking price under Rs. 30,000, while the Reno8 Pro 5G could be announced between Rs. 35,000- Rs. 40,000 price range. We would like to add that these are the prices tipped via leaks and rumors and the exact pricing details would be confirmed once these handsets go official.
OPPO has not detailed much related to the Reno8 series specifications. Only the MarisiliconX and the chipset details have been confirmed. We expect the brand to release more updates on the hardware going forward. Nevertheless, the Reno8 series has already been announced in China and is expected to come with the same set of features in the Indian market.
