Smartphone OEMs have started announcing their products in the pipeline for launch right from the starting of the year 2022 which is just two days away. The announcements have been made for the Indian market as well. The rumor mill has also tipped several upcoming launches that are slated for the 2022 launch in India. Amongst the upcoming devices, the Reno7 is one of the highly anticipated smartphone lineups which is tipped to debut soon in India. We are expecting all three models namely the Reno7, Reno7 Pro, and the Reno7 SE in the country. The arrival of the vanilla variant has been confirmed via a fresh BIS (Bureau Of Indian Standards) listing.
Is Oppo Reno7 Coming To India Soon?
As we all are aware, the Oppo Reno7 series comprising the Reno7 Pro and the Reno 7 SE along with the standard model has gone official in China. The global launch has been pending for a while and also the brand is yet to announce the timeline for its launch in different markets. But if go by the current rumors, the Reno7 (vanilla model) is heading to both India as well as Singapore.
The device has cleared its certification via both BIS (Bureau Of Indian standards) and IMDA in India and Singapore respectively. This confirms the availability of the latest Oppo premium mid-range phone in these two countries soon. It is worth mentioning that tipster Mukul Sharma has been the first to spot these Reno7 listings on BIS and IMDA. The leaks took to his official Twitter handle to share the screenshots of the same.
Sadly, the certification websites haven’t stated by when the official launch will take place. Nevertheless, the handset visiting both these certification portals of different regions is a clear indication for an upcoming launch. You might soon see an official teaser by the brand shared via its social media handles.
Oppo Reno7 Specifications
The Oppo Reno7 specifications have been out in the wild since it has gone official in China recently. It is a Snapdragon 778G processor-powered handset which is available with up to 12GB RAM and a 256GB storage option. The device will be arriving in India with a 6.43-inch FHD+ OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a punch-hole camera cutout. The cutout will be storing a 32MP selfie camera
The Reno7’s imaging setup would comprise a 64MP main camera at the back along with an 8MP ultrawide sensor and a 2MP macro sensor. Completing the spec-sheet is a 4,500 mAh battery with 65W quick charging.
