Key Highlights

  • Oppo Watch 3 could arrive in India soon
  • The wearable is powered by the Snapdragon W5 processor
  • The watch could take on Samsung Galaxy Watch 5

The Oppo Watch 3 series made its debut in China in August. Even though it has been almost four months, the company has failed to formally acknowledge the availability of its latest wearables in international markets. However, a recent report claimed that the Oppo Watch 3 would arrive in India by the end of March or the beginning of April. Unfortunately, the report didn’t provide any additional information regarding the product.

The first-generation Oppo Watch made its debut in 2020 in worldwide markets. Different chipsets were available in the watch in mainland China and other places. The Oppo Watch 2 series was still only available in China. Now if the report is accurate, the Oppo Watch 3 will be made available in international markets.

It’s possible that the Oppo Watch 3 for international markets will differ from the original Oppo Watch sold in China because the first-generation model’s specifications varied depending on the region. The latest Oppo Watch SE introduction as the Oppo Watch 3 outside of mainland China wouldn’t surprise us. Because the company might be able to retain competitive pricing with the support of this specific wearable.

Oppo Watch 3 Specifications

The hardware on the Oppo Watch 3 and Oppo Watch SE is great. While the latter has a Snapdragon 4100 Plus SoC, the former is powered by the Snapdragon W5 processor. The Apollo 4 Plus (Watch 3) and Apollo 4s (Watch SE) also include co-processors.

eSIM, Bluetooth calling, numerous sports modes, heart rate and blood oxygen level monitoring, sleep tracking, 5ATM water resistance, and other features are also available on these wearables. But the Galaxy Watch 4/5 offers ECG and blood pressure monitoring, while they do not.

For those searching for a true wristwatch on the Android operating system, the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 5 line of wearables from Samsung are presently the standard options. The only other choices are the Google Pixel Watch and the Fossil Gen 6 Wellness Edition. But unlike Galaxy Watches, which are distributed in practically every country, these two are only offered in a few nations.
