Poco recently confirmed an upcoming smartphone launch for the Indian market. The cryptic tweet shared by the brand hinted at the Poco M4 Pro’s arrival in the country. However, it wasn’t clear if the brand has planned to introduce the Poco M4 Pro 4G model or the 5G variant. But it seems that the former is coming first as it has paid a visit to Geekbench.

Poco M4 Pro 4G India Model Listed At Geekbench

Amidst the speculations of the Poco M4 Pro 4G and the Poco M4 Pro 5G India launch, the former has been spotted on the benchmark website Geekbench. The Poco M4 Pro 4G Indian model has been listed with the 2201116PI model number. This is an indication we get to see the standard 4G model’s debut initially in the country. We can only confirm this piece of information once Poco itself makes some announcements.

As per the benchmark website, the Poco M4 Pro 4G will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm processor with a 1.80GHz clock speed. The listing also mentions ‘schedutil’ motherboard. This chipset is essentially called the Snapdragon 695 SoC. Only a single 6GB RAM configuration has been revealed by Geekbench.

It is yet to be revealed if the Poco M4 Pro 4G will come with any additional RAM option in India. The storage capacity isn’t listed. But there are higher possibilities the 6GB RAM will be combined with 128GB native storage. The handset will also feature external microSD card support.

Back to the Geekbench listing, an Android 11 OS is confirmed to be pre-installed on the Poco M4 Pro 4G. It will be topped by a custom UI. The device has logged 688 points in the single-core test, while in the multi-core Geekbench test, it has achieved 2052 points.

Currently, there is no specific date revealed by Poco for the upcoming M4 Pro launch in India. But the fresh Geekbench listing is an affirmation that the company is getting done with the final test runs or is already done with all testing. We are waiting for Poco to reveal when the M4 Pro 4G or the M5 Pro 5G is finally getting unveiled in India and will update you with all the details.
