How To Resolve Printer Offline Or Printer Not Found Issues With HP Printers
You can easily resolve the printer offline issue with your HP printer using a Windows laptop or PC. You would need to install the HP Print and Scan Doctor app to fix this issue. Not just a Windows laptop or PC, you can also get this fixed using a Mac notebook or PC. However, for Mac systems, you would need the HP Smart app.
Step 1: On your Windows or Mac laptop/ PC, download the HP Print And Scan Doctor or HP Smart app respectively.
Step 2: Launch the downloaded application.
Step 3: Select your printer name from the list.
Step 4: If in case your printer is not mentioned in the list, tap on retry.
Step 5: If the error message reads connection problem, follow on-screen instructions.
Step 6: Once you get a message prompt that you need to turn on printer updates, click on Yes and then Continue.
Step 7: You will get another message prompt asking you to make your printer default. You need to select Yes.
Step 8: Your printer will now show online and you can start giving prints.
