Cutting-Edge 4nm Process: Unlike the Apple A17 Pro, which employs a 3nm process, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 operates on a 4nm process.
Enhanced CPU Performance: The prime core CPU boasts a peak clock speed of 3.3 GHz, marking a 30% power increase over its predecessor, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Additionally, it exhibits a 20% improvement in energy efficiency.
Improved GPU Capabilities: The GPU delivers a 25% performance boost, along with a 25% gain in power efficiency and 40% enhancement in Ray Tracing, leading to an overall 10% reduction in power consumption.
Expanded Connectivity: The chipset supports USB 3.1 Gen 2, LPDD5X RAM, Wi-Fi 7 (5.8Gbps), and Bluetooth 5.4.
Advanced 5G Modem: The new Snapdragon X75 modem enables advanced 5G capabilities, supporting 5G mmWave/sub-6GHz/SA/NSA, with up to 10Gbps downlink and up to 3.5Gbps uplink speeds.
Spectra ISP Imaging: Qualcomm Spectra ISP supports Real-time Semantic Segmentation for photo and video processing, up to 8K/30FPS HDR or 4K/120FPS video recording, and up to 200MP image capture. Supported HDR video formats include Dolby Vision, HDR10, HDR10+, and HLG.
High-Quality Audio: The chipset supports 24-bit 96 kHz lossless music and spatial audio with head tracking.
