Dynamic Island, a feature of the iPhone 14 Pro series, has undoubtedly encouraged developers of Android software to create something new. Chinese smartphone manufacturer Realme recently stated that it would be introducing the same feature, known as the “Realme Mini Capsule,” in its Realme C55 model. The company is reportedly prepared to release the Realme C55 on March 7, which confirms earlier rumors about the debut of the smartphone. Realme established a promotion page for the new smartphone on its Indonesian website, where they also disclosed that a flash sale for the Realme C55 will begin on March 8.

The Realme C55 is 7.89mm thick. The smartphone’s curved display makes it appear svelte in photographs. Polycarbonate was used to construct the back. The 6.72-inch FHD LCD screen of the Realme C55 has a 90Hz refresh rate. The Apple Dynamic Island-like Mini Capsule in the phone is a notable design element. It is claimed to display data consumption, battery alerts, and the phone’s charging status. By an OTA update, the firm will thereafter add step count and walking distance to this.
The Realme C55 has a 5000mAh battery that supports 33W superVOOC charging and a USB Type-C charging connection. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio G88 Processor. The smartphone will be available with either 6GB RAM and 128GB storage or 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. Virtual Memory expansion will be supported by both models. While the 8GB model will enable up to 8GB of virtual RAM expansion, the 6GB RAM model will only support up to 6 GB. A microSD card can also be used to increase the storage capacity to 1TB. Realme UI 4.0, based on Android 13, is anticipated to run on the Realme C55.
The Realme C55 will include a dual-camera system with a primary 64MP camera on the optical front. It will come with an 8MP front camera for selfies and video calls.

Realme C55: Price
The Realme C55 is priced at Rp 2,499,000 (about Rs 13,300) for the base 6GB + 128GB model and Rp 2,999,000 (around Rs 16,000) for the 8GB + 256GB model. The phone launched on March 7 and comes in two color options Rainy Night and Sun Shower. The phone is also expected to launch in India.
