Realme recently started a fresh smartphone lineup under the moniker “GT” catering to the premium mid-range audience. The company has already launched a bunch of devices in this series with the GT Master Edition and the GT Neo2 being the latest ones. Now, the brand is gearing up to launch another variant in this series which will be succeeding the Realme GT announced back in August this year. The Realme GT 2 Pro is the upcoming model which as per a report via 91Mobiles is already in the testing phase.
Realme GT 2 Pro Launch Timeline Revealed
The report in collaboration with tipster Mukul Sharma suggests the Realme GT 2 Pro’s product testing has begun and the company will make it official in early 2022 if it clears all the test runs. The exact launch detail is yet to be confirmed. However, this development seems authentic and we should see the Realme GT 2 Pro going official at the aforementioned timeline in India and the remaining global markets.
Realme GT 2 Pro: Features We Know
The Realme GT 2 Pro is said to be a flagship-grade offering by the Chinese smartphone brand. The upcoming handset is said to be equipped with some high-end features compared to its predecessor, i.e, the Realme GT. Going by the details provided by the leaks, the GT 2 Pro will be powered by Qualcomm’s new premium Snapdragon 898 octa-core processor.
This handset is said to come with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage option. The firmware is also tipped to be the latest., i.e, Android 12 OS. We will likely see a new version of the Realme UI on top.
The Realme GT 2 Pro is further rumored to sport a tall 6.51-inch display which will be an AMOLED panel. It will have 1080p FHD+ resolution, 409PPI pixel density, and an integrated fingerprint scanner. The screen refresh rate is unspecified but we will likely see 90/ 120Hz support.
The Realme GT 2 Pro camera specifications have also been specified by the rumor mill. The device is said to come with a triple rear camera setup with the primary sensor being a 108MP lens paired up with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 5MP tertiary sensor. The device might feature a 32MP camera for selfies and video calling.
