Realme is experimenting with newer technology series with its upcoming GT 2 smartphone series. The brand has showcased three of the first technologies with which the upcoming flagship series will be equipped. The Master Edition of the GT 2 Pro has also surfaced courtesy of the company itself. Bit one of the most intriguing features would be the in-display fingerprint scanner which will serve more than just device security.
Realme GT 2 Pro In-Display Fingerprint Scanner Integrates This Useful Feature
The Realme GT 2 Pro’s in-display fingerprint scanner won’t be just functioning as a security layer. It will also double up as a health-centric feature. Chase Xu Qi, Realme China’s Chief Officer took to the Chinese microblogging website Weibo to showcase the technology used by the Realme GT 2 Pro’s in-display fingerprint scanner.
The screenshots shared hint at the presence of a Heart Rate Monitor. But that seems to be the impressions of the Heart Rate sensor along with some set of instructions. There is no confirmation via these screenshots that states a Heart Rate monitor embedded within the in-display fingerprint scanner.
However, tipster Digital Chat Station separately tipped the same feature on the upcoming Realme GT 2 Pro. According to the leakster, the Realme GT 2 Pro will not be using a conventional optical fingerprint scanner and would rather use new tech. Nevertheless, Realme is definitely raising the bar with the amount of technology used for the GT 2 series.
If indeed the Realme GT 2 Pro features a Heart Rate Monitor inside the in-display fingerprint scanner, it would be the first for any Android or even Apple iPhone model to date. We are not sure if Realme had a breakthrough in managing this tech and embedding it with the GT 2 Pro. But if this feature goes official, the company will surely grab all the headlines. Also, the GT 2 Pro would probably become one of the most advanced premium-range gaming handsets.
