Xiaomi has introduced its new range of products in China including the flagship Pad 6 Max tablet, Mi Mix fold 3, and Redmi K60 smartphone lineup. Alongside, Xiaomi’s sub brand Redmi also introduced its new-generation Android tablet. Called the Redmi Pad SE, the latest tablet has arrived instead of the Redmi Pad 2 which was in the rumors for a while. Here’s everything you need to know:

Xiaomi has launched the Redmi Pad SE in the European markets with mid-tier spec sheet. This model is packed with an 11-inch display which is an LCD panel similar to the first-gen Redmi Pad model. The screen supports a 2K resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels. Additionally, the panel offers a refresh rate of 90Hz and has a peak brightness of 400 nits. The Redmi Pad SE’s display is TUV Rheinland certified that helps the screen to cut down on Blue light emissions.
In terms of camera hardware, the Redmi Pad SE employs a single 8MP camera sensor at the rear panel. The rear camera of the new Redmi tablet is capable of recording 1080p videos @30 fps. The selfies and video calling requirements are taken care of by a single 5MP camera up front. For the audio delivery, the Xiaomi Redmi Pad SE has a quad-speaker module combined with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res audio technologies.
Under the hood, the Xiaomi Redmi Pad SE tablet utilizes the mid-range octa-core Snapdragon 680 chipset for performance delivery. This Qualcomm chipset is fabricated using a 6nm processor and is clubbed with 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB RAM options for multitasking requirements. Unlike the multiple storage options, the Redmi Pad SE has a single 128GB onboard storage space. It also features an microSD card slot for storage expansion.
The Redmi Pad SE will be shipping with Android 13 OS which will be layered with an MIUI 14 Pad interface on top. This UI will allow the tablet to double up as laptop for convenience with various tasks. In terms of connectivity, the new Redmi Pad tablet will offer standard Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and GPS networks. It will also feature a 3.5mm headphone jack and USB Type-C port. The Redmi Pad SE will be drawing its power from an 8,000 mAh battery pack which will support a standard 10W charging.

Redmi Pad SE Price, Official India Launch Timeline
Xiaomi has launched the Redmi Pad SE starting at €199 (approx. Rs. 18,000 ) for the 4GB RAM model. This tablet with 6GB RAM is priced at €229 (approx Rs. 20,500), while the top model is launched at €249 (approx. Rs. 22,700). The color options available for this notebook includes Lavender Purple, Graphite Gray, and Mint Green shades. Xiaomi is yet to announce the Redmi Pad SE’s official launch date for India but the developments could soon emerge.
