The Xiaomi Redmi Pad 2 tablet has been certified via multiple portals recently including 3C, TUV Rheinland, and Safety Korea. Unfortunately Xiaomi has still kept the Redmi Pad 2 ‘s launch date under the wraps and has also not confirmed the markets where this new-generation Android tablet will make its initial debut. There are possibilities that Xiaomi will also launch the Redmi Pad 2 tablet in India but the exact date would be difficult to guess.

The Redmi Pad 2’s front panel render image shows a standard design featuring a web camera for selfies integrated on the top bezel and the power key for device lock/unlock on left panel. The Redmi Pad 2 tablet has cleared it’s certification from the Safety Korea portal with the 23073RPBFL model number. This same model number of the Redmi Pad 2 has been revealed by the remaining certification listings as well.

The Xiaomi Redmi Pad 2 tablet is expected to launch with some decent set of upgrades when compared to the previous-generation Redmi Pad model. The Redmi Pad 2 tablet is rumoured to sport an 11-inch LCD display which will possibly support a 2K screen resolution of 1200 x 2000 pixels and a refresh rate of 90Hz or 120Hz.
The leaks and rumors have pointed at the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 4G chipset foro performance delivery. The exact RAM and storage configurations are yet to be confirmed but we expect up to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage space. For imaging, the Redmi Pad 2 could employ a single 8MP rear camera and a 5MP selfie lens. We might see an 8,000 mAh battery powering the Redmi Pad 2 tablet combined with an 18W fast charging tech.
