Samsung is getting aggressive with budget smartphone launches in India. Following the Galaxy A and the Galaxy M series, the brand is now set to expand its mid-tier Galaxy F series. Samsung has announced the upcoming Galaxy F23 5G India launch timeline and has also dropped in some major clues related to its availability and features.

Samsung Galaxy F23 5G India Launch This Month

Samsung has confirmed the Galaxy F23 5G will be breaking covers on March 8 in India. The next Galaxy F series phone will be an affordable 5G offering by Samsung that will be sold via Flipkart. With just a few days remaining for the official launch, the Galaxy F23 5G’s dedicated landing page has also been updated on the e-commerce website.

Samsung itself has confirmed a few of the key specifications of the Galaxy F23 5G. The company is ditching the in-house Exynos series processor and rather will be using a Qualcomm Snapdragon series chipset (Snapdragon 750G SoC). The mid-range octa-core game-centric chipset is built on an 8nm fabrication process and has Adreno 619 GPU support.

Samsung has not revealed the RAM and storage variants; the Flipkart page isn’t also updated with the configurations. However, recent leaks and rumors have tipped up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration. We can also expect additional storage support via a microSD card. The company has also further revealed a 120Hz display panel that will be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The panel type and screen size aren’t tipped yet.

Samsung might give details on the remaining Galaxy F23 5G features ahead of the March 8 launch. But we will have to wait for the official launch to know the pricing details. While Samsung has given insight into just the process and display features of the Galaxy F23 5G, the leaks have detailed other key specs.

Going by the rumors, the 120Hz display used by the Galaxy F23 5G would measure 6.43-inches and will sport a waterdrop style notch. The mid-range 5G Samsung phone is said to arrive with three back cameras where the main sensor will be a 50MP lens. A 5,000 mAh battery topped with 15W fast charging is said to power the handset.
