Samsung has come up with a new credit card for its customers that offers cashback. The smartphone company has launched this offer in partnership with Axis Bank and is powered by Visa. Under this partnership, buyers will get 10 percent cashback via Samsung Axis Bank Credit Card.
“Our research shows that 3 out of 4 Indian consumers buy at least one electronic appliance or device every year and spend around Rs. 40000 on electronics annually,” said Sandeep Ghosh, Group Country Manager, India, and South Asia, Visa.
The Samsung Asis Bank Credit Card is designed for regular buyers of the company’s products and services. Notably, the buyers will get 10 percent cashback if they purchase products like tablets, laptops, televisions, refrigerators, washing machines, ACs, smartphones on Service Center payments, Samsung Care+ extended warranties, and mobile protection plans.
“Through this co-branded credit card, in partnership with Samsung India and Visa, we are reiterating our commitment to drive access to formal credit in India, tapping the wide reach of Samsung India that extends beyond the top 10 cities and aids our objective of card penetration into tier 2 & 3 cities,” said Amitabh Chaudhry, MD, and CEO, Axis Bank.
Samsung Axis Bank Credit Card Variants: Details
The company has announced two variants such as Visa Infinite and Visa Signature. Notably, the Signature variant will offer cashback up to Rs. 10,000 annually and Rs. 2,500 cashback monthly. Besides, the Infinite variant will be available cashback up to Rs. 20,000 and Rs. 5,000 monthly.
The company said that cardholders will get 10 percent cashback on all purchases. In addition, the company said that cardholders are allowed to earn Edge Reward Points on all spending made outside the entire ecosystem.
