Of late, Samsung has been focusing majorly on the affordable segment and has launched numerous devices in the Galaxy M and Galaxy A series. The latter is expanded once again with a new entry-level device called the Galaxy A03. It comes as the third model in this lineup following the Galaxy A03s and the Galaxy A03 Core both of which have been introduced this year itself. The latest entrant by the company brings a new design and features such as dual rear cameras and an HD+ display.
Samsung Galaxy A03 Hardware And Software Features
The budget Samsung Galaxy A03 has been announced with an octa-core chipset with a clock speed of 1.6Hz. The company has not yet revealed the name of the chipset. Therefore, it remains to be seen if it’s a Qualcomm Snapdragon or MediaTek Helio series chipset. The device has been announced with up to 4GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration.
The Galaxy A03 has been packed with a 6.5-inch Infinity-V display which is an IPS LCD panel. It comes with a standard 720p HD+ screen resolution and 60Hz refresh rate. The V-shaped notch is a storehouse for a 5MP camera for selfies and video calling. This snapper has an f/2.2 aperture.
At the rear, the Galaxy A03 has a vertically aligned dual-camera setup. The primary sensor is a 48MP lens with an f/1.8 aperture which is further accompanied by a 2MP sensor for bokeh shots. The connectivity options are standard, i.e, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS. The device is backed by a massive 5,000 mAh battery unit. The charging speeds are standard (10W).
Samsung Galaxy A03 Price, Global Availability
Samsung has not yet officially revealed the pricing and availability details of the Galaxy A03. The only information confirmed by the brand is the specs and the configurations. Speaking of which, the device will be available in three different options.
The base model will come with 3GB RAM+ 32GB storage, while the mid-tier model will offer 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The top-end model will pack 4GB RAM but a higher 128GB storage space.
