Samsung has started sending the next lot of Galaxy A series phones to the production bay. The Galaxy A14 is one of the variants which has started showing up via leaks online. The device first made its sightings in the form of 5K renders and 360-degree shared exclusively via Giznext. Since then, it has been spotted multiple times and even has cleared its certification suggesting an upcoming launch. It now has cleared Bluetooth SIG certification as well which confirms its arrival in the Indian market.
Samsung Galaxy A14 5G Gets Bluetooth SIG Certified
The Samsung Galaxy A14 5G has been listed at the Bluetooth SIG portal with multiple model numbers. The handset is spotted on the certification website with the SM-A146U, SM-A146VL, SM-A146W, SM-A146U, SM-A146 U1/DS, SM-A146P, and SM-A146P/N. These model numbers are almost similar. The difference is only the model names for different markets. In addition to India, the Galaxy A14 5G is also said to mark its debut in the USA, Canada, South Korea, and other regions.
Samsung Galaxy A14 5G Key Speculations
The Galaxy A14 5G’s Bluetooth SIG listing only reveals Bluetooth 5.3 wireless network support. But thanks to past leaks, other details such as display, processor, camera, and battery features are known. According to the rumors, Samsung will possibly use an in-house Exynos processor to power its cheapest 5G phone. The brand could either use the Exynos 1330 or the Exynos 1380 processor inside the Galaxy A14 5G.
Speaking of the screen, the Samsung Galaxy A14 5G will be sporting a 6.8-inch display. It’ll be an IPS LCD screen that will offer an FHD+ resolution of 1080 x 2408 pixels. It would feature a waterdrop notch for the selfie camera. A large 13MP sensor will be used for selfies and video calling.
Samsung is further said to use 50MP primary camera for imaging on the Galaxy A14 5G. However, the additional sensor details are unspecified at this point. The budget 5G Samsung phone’s configuration details are also a mystery, but it could come with a maximum of 6 or 8GB RAM along with a 128GB storage option.
Samsung will be opting for the latest Android 13 OS as the firmware on the Galaxy A14 5G. A custom OneUI interface will also be pre-loaded. The rumor mill is just to give details related to the battery capacity, but a wild guess would be at least a 5,000 mAh unit with fast charging support.
