Samsung Galaxy A22 5G Pros and Cons

PROS

Typical Samsung Design – The new Samsung Galaxy A22 5G looks like a typical Samsung device and that’s actually a good thing. The new Galaxy A22 5G is available in three colour shades – Grey, Mint and Violet.

Powerful SoC – The recently launched Samsung Galaxy A22 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset coupled with the Mali-G57 MC2 GPU and it is a powerful SoC for mid-range smartphones.

Supports 11 5G Bands – Thanks to the MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor, the new Samsung Galaxy A22 5G supports 5G mobile networks and it is claimed to support a total of eleven 5G bands.

90 Hz Display – The new Samsung Galaxy A22 5G features a 6.6-inch FHD+ Infinity-V Display with a 90 Hz high refresh rate system. The V-shaped notch of the smartphone houses the selfie camera.

Massive Battery – The Galaxy A22 5G packs a massive 5000mAh battery and it is more than enough to last a day for most users.

CONS

No AMOLED Display – Samsung now offers its immersive Super AMOLED displays in smartphones which cost much less than the Galaxy A22 5G. However, sadly the Galaxy A22 5G gets a regular IPS LCD panel.

Decent Cameras – The cameras of the new Galaxy A22 5G aren’t the best, considering the asking price. It features a 48 MP primary camera which is coupled with a 5 MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2 MP depth shooter. At the front, it gets an 8 MP camera for selfies and videos.

Overpriced – The Samsung Galaxy A22 5G is certainly an overpriced smartphone. It has been launched in India in two variants and both variants get 128 GB of internal storage. The base variant gets 8 GB of RAM and has been priced at Rs 19,999 while the 8 GB variant has been priced at Rs 21,999.
