Samsung has introduced its latest generation flagship Galaxy S24 series at the Galaxy Unpacked 2024 event. As expected, the new lineup includes vanilla Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and the Galaxy S24 Ultra. All three Samsung Galaxy S24 series comes with notable hardware upgrades and are integrated with Galaxy AI which brings accessibility to a range of smart features. The top-of-the-line Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra has also received fair share of upgrade which we have listed below.

Galaxy S24 Ultra Design
When you see the Galaxy S24 Ultra, you will notice the similarites it bears with the Galaxy S23 Ultra. However, there are subtle changes including a lighter body frame which now is titinium alloy. Just to recap, the Galaxy S23 Ultra uses aluminum body material. Unlike the previous-gen Galaxy S series models that featured curved edged display, the Galaxy S24 Ultra has flat-edge screen.
The camera module at the rear is also similar to the predecessor. However, the protection used is new. The Galaxy S24 Ultra gets new Corning Gorilla Glass Armor layering both upfront and rear adding to the durability. The stylus pen support is retained with the new-gen Galaxy S24 series.

Galaxy S24 Ultra Display
The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra display gets more refined. The South Korean giant has used Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen which measures 6.8-inches. This high-end screen supports a QHD+ resolution of 3120 x 1440 pixels and 120Hz refresh rate. Samsung has upgraded the display game by enhancing the brightness levels. The Galaxy S24 Ultra has a peak brightness level of 2600 nits.

Galaxy S24 Ultra Processor
Under the hood, the Galaxy S24 Ultra employs a tweaked Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. This new chipset comes with Galaxy AI features and offers better performance compared to the standard Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. Additionally, the vapour chamber for heat dissipation also is increased which eventually will allow faster speeds along with efficient performance.
Chat Assist, Interpreter, Circle to Search, Transcript Assist, are some of the intutitive AI-generative features that users will get to access with the new Galaxy S24 series. The Galaxy S24 Ultra will be available with up to 12GB RAM and 1TB storage configuration.

Galaxy S24 Ultra Camera Hardware
Camera is the big highlight of the Galaxy S24 Ultra. It is loaded with a 200MP wide angle sensor with an f/1.7 aperture, a 50MP telephoto lens with 5x zoom and OIS, a 12MP ultrawide lens, and an additional 10MP short telephoto sensor.
The 50MP telephoto sensor comes as a new addition. Just for refrence, it replaces the 10MP smaller lens available with the previous-gen model. The selfie setup on the Galaxy S24 Ultra includes a 12MP lens with an f/2.2 aperture. The new AI-capabilties aren’t solely limited to the processor. The Galaxy S24 series utilizes Galaxy AI to improve shots with different background and scenarios.
