Samsung hosted its Galaxy Unpacked event today. The South Korean tech giant took the wraps off the new-generation premium smart watch series called the Galaxy Watch 6. Samsung has made several improvements to the Galaxy Watch 6 smarwatches such as better health monitoring system and a new design language. Samsung has revived some vintage memories with the Galaxy Watch 6 series. The latest smartwatch lineup comes with the iconic rotating bezel design. Notably, the rotating bezel-design is with the Galaxy Watch 6 classic model, whereas, the Galaxy Watch 6 vanilla variant has a standard fixed bezel design. Both variants get an IP68 certification that protects it from dust and water. Notably, the Galaxy Watch 6 classic and standard models have a 5ATM water resistivity.
The Galaxy Watch 6 dial measures within 40mm to 47mm range. The dial size depends on the variants. Speaking of the display size, the Watch 6 40mm dial version has a 1.3-inch screen, while the 47mm dial size has a 1.5-inch screen size.
The Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 series has been packed with a Sapphire Crystal Super AMOLED display. The screen panel is colored and has Always On Feature support. In terms of health features, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 lineup integrates various advanced sensors for monitoring health metrics. The latest generation flagship Galaxy smartwatches can track heart rate, sleep, blood oxygen, and more.
Samsung has also packed the Galaxy Watch 6 series with an in-house BioActive Sensor for optical heart rate monitoring via electrical heart signal. The Galaxy Watch 6 series further packs geomagnetic sensors, a barometer, and an accelerometer for tracking various physical activities.
The new Samsung Galaxy 6 smartwatch lineup gets Wear OS and has OneUI 5 interface. The Galaxy Watch 6 models are also packed with different connectivity options such as NFC, LTE, Wi-Fi 2, and GPS. Both Galaxy Watch 6 models can last up to 30 hours with a single charge with the AOD feature, whereas, without the AOD it can last up to 40 hours.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 series is priced starting at $299 (approx. Rs. 24,520) for the standard and $399 (Rs. 32,700) for the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic.
