Xiaomi has broadened its Redmi product range with the introduction of the Redmi Buds 5 series, featuring the Redmi Buds 5 and Redmi Buds 5 Pro. Teaser Poster Unveiled
In anticipation of the launch, Redmi shared a teaser poster offering a sneak peek at the upcoming Super Buds. Currently, Redmi sells the Redmi Buds 4 Active and Redmi Buds Lite in India, and the Buds 5 is expected to follow a design language similar to the Buds 4 Active.

Redmi Buds 5: Unveiling Features
The Redmi Buds 5 promises an elevated audio experience with up to 46 dB of active noise cancellation (ANC). Users can choose from three ANC modes, an AI adaptive mode, and three transparency modes, providing versatility to meet various preferences. Offering up to 10 hours of continuous listening per earbud, with an impressive 40 hours when paired with the charging case, these earbuds boast Bluetooth 5.3 Low Energy, Google Fast Pair, and intuitive touch controls. The IP54 dust- and water-resistant rating further enhances their durability.

Pro Version On The Horizon
While a Pro version exists, it remains uncertain whether Xiaomi will introduce it to the Indian market. The Redmi Buds 5 Pro features an LHDC 5.0 codec, unlike its counterpart. Additionally, the Buds 5 has two microphones, while the Pro version boasts three. Both models support customization and updates through the Xiaomi Earbuds app.
Availability And Pricing
The Redmi Buds 5 is already available in China in Black, White, and Sky Blue colors. The device has been priced at 199 Yuan ($27).
