Snapchat is likely to introduce its paid services for its users on the platform. The Snapchat Plus paid subscription will provide exclusive and pre-release features to users. This development comes after Twitter user Alessandro Paluzzi revealed that the company is testing this feature internally.
“We’re doing early internal testing of Snapchat Plus, a new subscription service for Snapchatters. We’re excited about the potential to share exclusive, experimental, and pre-release features with our subscribers, and learn more about how we can best serve our community,” As per the official statement.
Meanwhile, Paluzzi posted on Twitter and claims that the upcoming services will cost you 4.59 euros ( close to Rs. 377 per month) for per month or 45.99 euros for one year. Besides, the upcoming services will allow the user to post content stories, scroll through features, and play games.
It is worth noting that the company has not revealed much information about all features; however, Snapchat Plus users will allow pinning friends on the top of their list, special badge on their profiles, and exclusive icons. In addition, users will be allowed to see how many people have watched their stories.
Instagram Paid Access
It is important to note that Instagram has launched subscriptions globally so that it can help creators make money via the platform. This feature will allow creators to make money from the followers, brands, advertising, or bonus from the application.
“With Instagram Subscriptions, creators can develop deeper connections with their most engaged followers and grow their recurring monthly income by giving subscribers access to exclusive content and benefits, all within the same platform where they interact with them already,” Instagram explained.
Twitter Paid Services
Telegram founder Pavel Durov has also announced that the app will start offering a new premium membership. The membership has not been launched officially but is expected to be available soon.
Durov said, “Many have been asking us to raise the current limits even further, so we looked into ways to let you go beyond what is already crazy. The problem here is that if we were to remove all limits for everyone, our server and traffic costs would have become unmanageable, so the party would be unfortunately over for everyone.”
