Sony has announced the launch of the Xperia 1 IV in the global markets. It is a flagship device that comes with strong features and specifications. The smartphone has a 3.5mm headphone jack, 4K OLED panel, and a ZEISS-branded triple camera system. Besides, the phone is expected to compete against Apple iPhone 13 Pro and the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra.

The newly launched Sony Xperia 1 IV smartphone has a flat design and rounded corners. However, the device does not have a notch or a punch-hole panel and the company launched the device with a simple bezel design.
The device features a 6.5-inch OLED display with a Full-HD+ resolution, 4K resolution, 120Hz screen refresh rate, and HDR support. Also, the screen has a 240Hz motion blur reduction feature and 240Hz touch sampling rate. Plus, there is Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection.
The newly launched device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 octa-core processor. It is paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB/512GB of internal storage. Plus, the company is providing a MicroSD card slot for extra storage. The device packs a 5,000mAh battery along with 30W fast charging support technology. The device runs Android 12 OS out of the box.
