At an asking price below Rs. 1.10 lakh, the Svitch CSR 762 comes as a promiscuous electric motorcycle that will go up against the likes of the Tork Kratos and Revolt RV 400. Design

The newly launched Svitch CSR 762 electric bike brings along a sporty and futuristic design language. It flaunts quadrilateral headlight design featuring LED bulbs combined with DRLs. Svitch has opted for a hybrid design approach with the CSR762 where it looks more boxy and rugged.

Svitch has also kept utility in mind while designing the CSR 762 electric motorcycle. It comprises a large 40l luggage space which comes as a replacement for the fuel tank available in the conventional ICE motorcycles. There is also an additional small compartment placed on the fuel tank that acts as a storage for smartphone and other handy items.

Powertrain

The Svift CSR 762 e-motorcycle has a 3 kW PMSM (Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor) electric motor mounted at the mid-frame. This electric motorcycle offers a premium performance delivery. Its motor is capable of producing 3kW or 4 bhp of nominal power, whereas, the peak power figure attained its 10kW or 13.4 bhp. The CSR 762 electric motorcycle can further produce a peak torque of 56 Nm.

Battery And Range

The battery pack driving the Svitch CSR 762 electric motorcycle measures 3.6 kWh (72W 50Ah). According to the company, this electric motorcycle can offer up to 160 km range on a single charge. However, we can’t confirm the real life range as of now.

Top Speed

The Svitch CSR 762 debuts as a high-performance electric motorcycle which can achieve up to 110 km/h top speed. This pits it against the likes of the Tork Kratos, Oben Rorr, and others.

Braking And Suspension

The Svitch CSR 762 electric bike comes with disc braking system both upfront and the rear. At the front it has 300mm disc brake, while at the rear it includes a 280mm disc. Furthermore, it also has a combi braking system that improves the ride safety.

Since the Svitch CSR 762 electric motorcycle is designed on a tubular frame, it features RSU (Restricted Stock Unit) suspension upfront and mono shock absorbers at the rear.
