Vi Games Launched In India: See Here For All Details

Vodafone-Idea has announced the launch of the new services on Monday. The telecom operator has launched Vi Games in partnership with Nazara Technologies, which is a gaming company. Under this newly launched gaming service, Vodofone-Idea users are allowed to access 1,200 mobile games within the company application.

This section is listed on the Games tab in the app, which is next to the Home and Live TV applications. In fact, the company claims that Vi Games on the app will provide an immersive gaming experience to Android and HTML5-based mobile games in 10 genres, including arcade, casual, fun, puzzle, racing, strategy, sports, and more.

The telecom giant also said that casual gaming content can hold social gaming along with esports events in the coming months. Also, the company said that Vi Games will be available in three categories, including Platinum Games, Gold Games, and Free Games.

“We are seeing a significant uptake of gaming consumption in India with more than 95% of gaming enthusiasts using the mobile device to enjoy a wide variety of content. Deeper penetration of smartphones and 4G availability has led to meteoric growth and adoption of gaming content making it a popular choice for fun and entertainment,” said Avneesh Khosla, Chief Marketing Officer at Vodafone Idea.

Vi (Vodafone-Idea) Gaming Plan: Details

Vodafone-Idea has launched three plans for its customers, i.e. Platinum, Free titles, and Gold. The Gold category will be providing the largest library, where postpaid users will get access to 30 games for Rs. 50 and prepaid users will have to pay Rs. 56.

In addition, postpaid users that are using Rs. 499 will get five gamers per month. Besides, all games in this tier will also have access to download and play games for one month. Furthermore, the Platinum Games category users will have to pay on a downloading basis that is priced at Rs. 25 and Rs. 26 for postpaid and prepaid users. Additionally, the company is providing 250 free titles on its app or platform.

The voucher for Rs. 48 offers 2GB of data for 21 days, whereas the Rs. 58 voucher ships 3GB of data for 21 days and Rs. 98 voucher offers 9GB of data for 28 days, respectively.

The company also ships three vouchers that are priced at Rs. 118, Rs. 298, and Rs. 418. The Rs. 118 voucher is providing 12GB of data for 28 days, while Rs. 298 and Rs. 418 vouchers have been launched under the Work From Home plans.

The Rs. 298 is providing 50GB of data for 28 days, whereas Rs. 418 ships 100GB of data for 56 days. It is worth noting that these 4G data vouchers are available for all customers across India. Additionally, Reliance Jio, Airtel, and Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited are also providing these affordable vouchers to all customers and all packs are listed on the website and mobile apps.
