Tata Motors is expanding its EV fleet and has confirmed the upcoming range of electric SUVs it will be bringing to the Indian shores. After unveiling the much-awaited Punch.ev, Tata will be introducing the Curvv EV, Harrier EV, Sierra EV, and also an all-electric version of the Tiago. While the former three have already been confirmed to launch in India, the Altroz EV’s arrival has been tipped recently. Know all the developments below:
Tata Altroz EV India Launch Confirmed: What Is The Timeline?
The Tata Altroz EV is likely breaking covers in 2025. Notably, this is the proposed timeline for the Sierra EV as well. It has been a while since Tata revealed the concept electric version of the Altroz EV. The first revelation of this concept EV hatchback was during the Geneva Motor show hosted back in 2019. Now, almost after four years, this concept is apparently shaping up to reality.

Tata Altroz EV Expected Price Range In India
As the Tata Altroz EV is still in the development phase, the information related to its pricing is scarce. But still, the rumor mill indicates a starting price range from Rs. 12 lakh in India. The prices are expected to vary as per the selective trims. Now, this pricing is speculative and should be considered as a grain of salt.

Tata Altroz EV Design And Powertrain: Leaked Details
The Tata Altroz EV is expected with a refreshed design where the brand could incorporate the new sleek LED DRLs, headlamp, and taillight design. In fact, some reports indicate the Altroz EV could be the facelift version of the current-gen Altroz ICE model.
In addition to a revamped exteriors, the Tata Altroz EV will also get cabin improvements. The dashboard design is said to be upgraded inside the Altroz EV. Possible inclusions would be the illuminated Tata badging along with a large floating touchscreen infotainment system. It is also expected to feature 2-spoke steering wheel that ill house the illuminated Tata logo.
The Tata Altroz EV is also said to be built on the latest Active.ev platform as the newly launched Punch.ev and other upcoming Tata EVs. This mid-size electric hatchback could feature up to 35 kWh battery pack producing up to 120bhp power.
