Tata Motors will soon be adding a new model to its mid-size SUV portfolio. The upcoming SUV from the auto giant is none other than the Curvv which the brand has been teasing off late via its social media handles. Besides the ICE model, the Curvv EV is also being introduced with an all-electric powertrain. After a delay in its arrival, the Curvv e-SUV is making its way finally to the country. Tata Motors has finally rested all the rumors surrounding the Curvv SUV’s India launch. The company is bringing the new mid-size SUV model on August 7, 2024 in India. The Curvv ICE and EV models both are expected to debut on the same date.

The teasers and spy shots of Curvv EV have been doing rounds consistently for a while and finally the date has been out. As per the details available, the Curvv EV could carry a starting price range of Rs. 20 lakh. It will be coming as a new contender in the mid-size e-SUV segment taking on the likes of the MG ZS EV. and the upcoming Mahindra XUV 3XO EV.

Tata Curvv EV: Everything We Know

Tata Curvv EV model will be a mid-size coupe-style SUV featuring all-electric powertrain. The upcoming e-SUV will share its design with the ICE model but will have certain EV-specific distinctions too. The Curvv EV showcased during the Auto Expo and Bharat Mobility Global expo revealed a connected LED DRL module and a closed-off grille.

The rear profile will also feature a connected LED tail lamp setup. Inside the cabin, the Curvv EV will be sporting a 12.3-inch infotainment and a 10.25-inch driver display. The Curvv EV will be built on the new Activ.ev platform and could get up to 45 kWh battery with a range delivery of up to 500 km on a full charge. The e-SUV will also have ADAS and 360° surround camera module.
