Tata Motors is gearing up for a new EV launch in India. The company is all set to add the Curvv to its portfolio which will be released with both ICE and all-electric powertrain options. A while ago, the launch timeline for the Curvv EV variant was tipped to be postponed till the festive season. Meanwhile, the test mules of the Curvv EV were spotted getting tested. Now, after all the wait, Tata has officially shared the teaser poster of the Curvv EV ahead of the upcoming launch. Here are the developments that you should know:

Tata Curvv EV Officially Teased
The Tata Curvv EV’s official teaser has been shared right ahead of its festive season launch. The company took its official X handle to tease the upcoming EV with the post reading “Designed with character – designed with care. #TataCURVV #TataCurvvEV – coming soon.”
https://x.com/Tataev/status/1809845791286034606?Since this is the first official teaser of the Curvv EV, not much has been shared by Tata when we speak of the design. However, Tata has already revealed how the upcoming EV will look like during the Baharat Global Mobility Expo showcasing.
The production-ready test mules spotted also gave us a glimpse of its design and features. Both Curvv ICE and the EV models will be identical design-wise with the latter getting EV specific elements including the grille, charging port, and more.
The coupe-style electric SUV will feature a slanting roofline and Nexon-like DRLs (daytime running headlamps). The same has been revealed by the official teaser. The short video also showcases the connected tail lamp setup and alloy wheels.

Tata Curvv EV Powertrain:What To Expect?
Despite showcasing the concept, Tata has kept a silence related to the Curvv EV’s powertrain and features. However, this upcoming EV is expected to use the same Activ.ev platform as the Punch.ev. Not much details are out yet, but the Curvv EV will also be loaded with advanced tech and features and is expected to deliver up to 500 km range on a single battery charge cycle.
