After launching the Punch.ev, Tata motors has started working on its remaining EV fleet. Next electric SUV in line from Tata is the Harrier EV will be joined later by the Curvv EV, and the Safari EV. A fresh patent filing fo the Tata Harrier EV not only confirms its arrival in the Indian market but also reveals the design.
Tata Harrier EV Patent Leaks: What Does It Hint About The Design?
As seen in the patent filing images, the Tata Harrier EV borrows majority of its design elements from the Harrier ICE version. The leaked patent image only reveals the exterior design where we can see minor changes including the EV labeling upfront and a fresh aero alloy wheel set. The patent images have also confirmed the presence of a panoramic sunroof.
Some reports indicate that the front design specifically the grille and bumper could get some tweaks in terms of design when compared to the ICE version. Additionally, the Tata Harrier EV will get a triangular headlamp design with slim DRLs placed above.
The Tata Harrier EV patent images doesn’t share any insight into the cabin. But going by the previously available information, it is expected to feature a two-spoke steering wheel. There will also be an illuminated Tata logo which we have seen with the recently launched Harrier facelift model.

Tata Harrier EV: India Launch Date And Expected Pricing?
The Tata Harrier EV is confirmed to launch soon in India. The timeline suggested is by the end of 2024. Speaking of the expected pricing, the Tata Punch EV is said to be priced starting at Rs. 35 lakh in the country and the prices could vary depending on the trims. But since this is a rumored information, it is advised to be taken as a grain of salt.

The Harrie EV is said to built on the same Gen II EV architecture (Active.ev platform) as the newly launched Punch.ev. According to various reports, the Tata Harrier EV would likely come with up to 80 kWh battery pack. Expected range delivery by the Harrier EV could be around 500 km on one full charge.
Feature-wise, the Tata Harrier EV is said to be loaded with a wide range of advanced features. Top highlights would be ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and 360-degree surround camera system.
