Tata has been rapidly increasing its presence across the EV industry in India and has now updated its portfolio with one of the most anticipated electric cars. The Tata Nexon EV Facelift has finally been unveiled in the Indian market featuring a reworked design and new improved features. Read all details below:
Tata Nexon EV Facelift Design: What’s New?
The Tata Nexon EV Facelift comes with similar design language as the recently launched Tata Nexon ICE version. The fascia is revamped and the design is losely based on the Tata Curvv concept electric car. The Nexon EV’s facelift variant gets new connected LED taillight and DRLs and also R16 alloy wheels. The interiors of the Nexon EV Facelift is also re-designed to give a more premium feel. Tata has added rain sensing wipers, an electric sunroof, a 360-degree camera, and front and rear parking camera sensor.
It includes a new 12.3-inch digital infotainment system with digital voice assistant and Arcade.ev compatibility. The latter is Tata’s in-house app suite that offers compatibility with around 15 different popular mobile apps. The updated interiors also include ventilated seats and rear AC vents.

Tata has launched two different variants of the Nexon EV Facelift electric car. There is a Medium Range (MR) and a Long Range (LR) variant. Both Tata Nexon EV Facelift MR and LR model are equipped with a Gen 2 electric motor. The base model, i.e., the Nexon EV MR variant is capable of producing 95kW peak power and 215NM of peak torque. It can deliver a range if up to 325km per charge (ARAI certified) and can accelerate from 0-100 in 9.2 seconds.
The Tata Nexon EV Facelift LR (Long Range) model has a bigger 40.5kWh battery pack and a better 106.4kW peak power. The range is also higher with this model, i.e., 465km per charge. This model can reach 0-100 kmph within 8.9 seconds. The Nexon EV facelift LR model takes around 4.3 hours to charge from 10-100 percent, while the LR model takes around 6 hours for the same.
