Tata Punch EV India Launch: Date? Here’s The Timeline
A new report by TOI Auto suggests that Tata is finally all set to launch the Punch EV in the Indian market. It is being suggested that Tata Motor’s dedicated EV devision will be bringing the Punch EV in the country next month itself. There have been several rumors indicating a 2024 launch which now is confirmed by the latest report.
Unfortunately, the exact date is still kept under the wraps and we probably will have to wait for an official teaser to be sure of it. However, it is indicated that the Tata Punch EV will be unveiled in the last week of January 2024.

Tata Punch EV Expected India Price
Again, this information is subject to various leaks and the exact price for the Punch EV is unknown. But going by the past leaks, we are anticipating a price range under Rs. 15 lakh. We might get to see the Tata Punch EV in multiple variants with the lowest model starting at around Rs. 10 lakh. Do not that the pricing mentioned is based on leaks and rumors and this information should be taken as a grain of salt.

Tata Punch EV Design
Tata Punch EV is said to borrow some design cues from the Nexon EV facelift model; specifically, for the interiors. The top-end variant of the Punch EV will feature a large 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system. A smaller digital infotainment system is expected for the lower end models.
Additionally, the Tata Punch EV is said to be equipped with a front fender-mounted charging port. This is one of the crucial design aspects that have been revealed by the leaked spy shots of the test mules. Further more the Punch EV will come with notable design tweaks over the existing ICE version.

Tata Punch EV Powertrain (Expected)
Not much is known when we speak of the Tata Punch EV powertrain or range details. But it is being speculated that the performance delivery offered by this new EV will be better compared to the Tiago hatchback or the Tigor electric sedan. This means a larger battery pack than the 24kWh module used by the Tiago and Tigor EV.
