Tata Punch electric comes as the most anticipated EV launch this year which is taking place this week itself in the country. The upcoming electric microSUV from Tata is already gone up for pre-orders and the interiors as well some of the key features have also been teased by the brand. Tata had also shared insight into the variants and trims in which the Tata Punch EV will be launched. Now, right ahead of the launch, the powertrain details of the Punch EV Medium and Long Range models have surfaced. Know the details here:

As per the fresh information, the Tata Punch EV’s Medium Range variant will come integrated with a 25 kWh battery pack. This same capacity has been tipped by multiple sources in the past.
In addition, this base version of the Tata Punch EV will be producing 82 PS power and a peak torque of 114NM. Top speed which this Punch EV model is said to achieve is 110 kmph, whereas, the ARAI claimed range is 315 km per charge.

The Punch EV Long Range model is said to be equipped with a slightly bigger battery pack compared to the Medium Range model. It will feature a 35kWh battery module. This Punch EV model will be offering a higher ARAI-claimed range of 400 km per charge.
Power produced will be 122PS and the peak torque generated will be 190 NM. The Tata Punch EV Long Range model’s top speed is said to be around 140km/h.
