Tecno is likely to bring a telescopic macro lens. Besides, the company announced that they will bring a smartphone with a telescopic macro lens. Besides, Tecno said that the design of the smartphone will be compact and will not have big housing.
In addition, several reports claim that it will have 5x optical zoom and will provide a bigger aperture. Notably, the telephoto macro comes with extends outwards. Also, the lens enables users to capture good shots without getting too close to the subject.
It is worth noting that the company has not revealed the dates of the upcoming smartphone, but still, we expect that the company might bring the device soon.
Tecno 5G Smartphone
Apart from bringing a smartphone with a telescopic macro lens, the company is planning to bring its 5G smartphone in India between Rs. 18,000 to Rs. 20,000.
“We will be launching our first 5G smartphone in the third or the fourth week of the next month,” Arijeet Talapatra, CEO of Transsion India recently informed Giznext during an interaction. For the uninitiated, the company has already launched its first 5G smartphone in Nigeria at NGN 129,000 that is close to Rs. 23,500.
The Tecno Pova 5G device comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC. Additionally, it has a 120Hz refresh rate, 8GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, and a 6.95-inch display. In addition, the device comes with a triple camera setup. It supports 50MP primary camera along with a 13MP and 2MP camera at the back.
Furthermore, the device supports a 16MP camera for selfies at the front. It also has a 6,000 mAh battery, 18W fast charging, and USB Type-C. The company has launched 18 devices last year and will launch 24 products this year in all series, such as Camon, Pova, Phantom, Spark, and POP.
Tecno Expansion Plans
Meanwhile, the company is expected to bring new products in accessories. The company will bring a new TWS and smartwatch in Q1 of this year. “We are planning to launch new TWS, speakers, and smartwatch next year,” Arijeet Talapatra, CEO of Transsion India said in an interview.
