Tecno has finally added another foldable Android phone to its portfolio. The Transsion-Holdings backed brand has now launched the Phantom V Flip 5G phone as its second foldable handset for the masses in India and the European regions. The new clamshell foldable phone from Tecno is packed with mid-range hardware and can be purchased at much cheaper rates compared to the rival clamshell foldable counterparts. Details are below:

The Tecno Phantom V Flip 5G looks different than currently available clamshell foldable Android smartphones. As per Tecno, the Phantom V Flip 5G’s design gets inspiration from cosmos where the cover screen is circular in shape and is being termed as “The Planet” by Tecno. Furthermore, the front camera module offers an “Asteroid Belt” design and the back pannel features a lychee-textured (vegan leather) material. This material is said to enhance the luxurious touch and feel.
Coming to the display, the Tecno Phantom V Flip 5G phone’s circular outer screen is an AMOLED panel that measures 1.32-inches and support Always-on-display feature. The display when unfolded measures 6.9-inches. It is a flexible AMOLED screen that supports an FHD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels.
Camera hardware on the Phantom V Flip 5G phone includes a 32MP selfie camera accommodated inside the punch-hole cutout upfront. The back panel of the Phantom V Flip is packed with a 64MP main camera which is further combined with a 13MP secondary and a wide-angle sensor.
The latest clamshell foldable Android phone from Tecno runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 8050 chipset which is combined with Mali-G77 GPU. This foldable phone will be available with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM which can be expanded to up to 16GB via virtual RAM feature. It comes with 256GB native storage capacity and Android 13 OS. Battery pack inside the Tecno Phantom V Flip 5G measures 4,000 mAh and gets 45W fast charging.

Tecno Phantom V Flip 5G Foldable Phone Price In India
The Tecno Phantom V Flip 5G foldable phone will be available at Rs. 49,999 (early bird price) starting October 1 in India. It will be available in Mystic Dawn and Iconic Black color options and will be sold via Amazon.
