Tecno has announced the launch of a new smartphone under the Pop series in India. The Tecno Pop 5 LTE packs a 5,000 mAh battery and comes with 14 regional languages support. The smartphone was first launched in the Phillippines and Pakistan in November last year with a 6.52-inch display.
Tecno Pop 5 LTE Smartphone: Specifications
The Tecno Pop 5 LTE sports a 6.52-inch HD+ IPS LCD (720×1,560 pixels) along with a dot notch display and 480 nits brightness. The smartphone runs Android 11 Go-based HiOS 7.6 and comes with a Smart Panel 2.0, Social Turbo themes, Digital Wellbeing, Gesture Call Picker, Parental control, Kids Mode, and more.
It is worth noting that the company has not revealed the details of the processor, but it has been launched in other markets with an Octa-core Unisoc SC96863 processor. Also, the smartphone features 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage that can be increased through a microSD card (up to 256GB).
On the optics front, the device comes with dual cameras at the back. It includes 8MP primary camera along with an f/2.2 aperture and 2MP sensor. The handset comes with a 5MP shooter for selfies, video calling, and Micro Slit Flashlight.

The Tecno Pop 5 LTE smartphone supports a fingerprint scanner and supports facial recognition. Also, the smartphone supports 14 languages such as Bengali, Urdu, Hindi, and more. The smartphone also has a 5,000 mAh battery and IPX2 rating for water resistance.
Furthermore, the handset supports FM radio, a Micro-USB port, 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth v4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPRS, and 4G LTE.
