Tecno is all set to launch a new smartphone under its Pova smartphone series in June in India. The Tecno Pova 3 is already available in the Philippines and now, will be available in the country soon. The upcoming smartphone will be the successor of the Pova 2, which was launched in 2021.
It is important to note that the company has not announce the launch date of the Pova 3 smartphone in India. In fact, the landing page of the device is already live on Amazon India which confirms a few details of the Pova 3 device. However, how it will be different from its predecessors like Tecno Tecno Pova 2 that we have to see. So, in that way we are comparing the specifications and price of the devices.
Tecno Pova 2: Specifications And Price
The Tecno Pova 2 supports a 6.9-inch FHD+ Dot-in display along with a centre-position punch-hole camera. The device is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 processor that is paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, which can be expandable through a microSD card for expansion.
The device runs Android 11 OS out of the box and has a 7,000mAh battery along with 18W fast-charging support. On the optics front, the smartphone has quad-cameras at the back, including a 48MP primary camera, 8MP secondary lens, and 2MP sensors.
The device has 8MP snapper on the front. You will also get a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. On the connectivity front, the device has GPS, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, and a USB Type-C port for charging and data sync.
The 4GB+64GB variant of the smartphone is priced at Rs. 10,999, whereas the 6GB+128GB model. The phone comes in Silver, Black, and Blue color options and will be available via Amazon.
Tecno Pova 3: Specifications And Price
The Tecno Pova 3 comes with a MediaTek Helio G88 processor AND 6GB of RAM. The smartphone might have 64GB or 128GB storage options that can be increased up to 5GB via unused storage and virtual RAM through the company’s memory fusion technology.
The smartphone has a graphite cooling system along with a Z-axis linear motor. Besides, the device sports a 6.9-inch FHD+ IPS LCD panel along with a 90Hz refresh rate. On the imaging front, the device has an 8MP camera on the front and runs Android 11 OS with the HiOS skin.
The device will have a massive 7,000mAh battery along with 33W fast charging support. Plus, you will find three dual speakers and DTS stereo sound. It will also have three side-mounted fingerprint readers, an FM radio, and a headphone jack.
The smartphone is expected to be priced at Rs. 13,350 as it comes with a starting price of PHP 8,999 in the Philippines. It is with noting that the device will be priced under Rs. 15,000.
