After launching the Pop 5 LTE smartphone, Tecno is all set to launch a new product in India. The company is planning to bring the Pova Neo smartphone into the country. The device has been launched in Nigeria for NGN 72,500, which is close to Rs. 13,000.
The company has also shared the same information via its official Twitter account. The tweet reads: “Get ready to witness the #UltimatePowerPlay. POVA NEO Coming Soon.” Notably, Tecno has not revealed the exact launch date, but sources close to the development told Giznext that the smartphone will be launched next week in India.
Sources also confirmed that the Tecno Pova Neo will have a 6,000 mAh battery, 6.82-inch display, 6GB -LPDDR4x Large RAM, and 128GB of internal storage. In addition, the device will have 13MP AI dual rear camera, quad flashlight, 8MP selfie camera, and dual flashlight.
Tecno Pova Neo Smartphone: Details
For the unaware, the device has been launched in Nigeria with a 6.8-inch HD+ display, 120Hz sampling rate, and 720 × 1640 resolution. The display will also accommodate the front camera inside a waterdrop notch.
Besides, the device is powered by the octa-core MediaTek Helio G25 SoC and PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The same chipset is available in Nokia G10, Infinix Smart 5, and Redmi 9A. Furthermore, the device is equipped with 4GB+ 64GB of storage. It runs Android 11 OS with HiOS skin on top.
Additionally, the handest flaunts dual-rear cameras, including a 13MP primary camera and an 8MP camera for selfies along with dual front flashes.
Furthermore, the Tecno Pova Neo comes with a 6,000 mAh battery along with 18W fast charging support. Also, it has a Type-C charging port, 3.5mm audio jack a 3.5mm audio jack, rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a dedicated micro-SD card slot The device comes in three colour options: Geek blue, Powehi, and Obsidian. It handset measures 171.39 × 77.25 × 9.1mm.
Apart from that, the company is planning to its 5G smartphone soon in the country. The Tecno Pova 5G is already available in the same market and soon it will be launched in the country.
