TRAI has announced that all telecom companies should have at least one plan voucher, one combo voucher, and a special tariff voucher for 30 days.
“Every Telecom Service Provider will offer at least one plan voucher, one special tariff voucher, and one combo voucher having validity of thirty days,” TRAI said in a statement.
The telecom regulator clarifies that Reliance Jio, Vodafone-Idea, Airtel, and Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited should have one plan that will be renewable on the same date as the actual date. The regulator also said that it has received complaints from consumers regarding 28 days validity plan as all want to have plans with 30 days or a month.
