TVS iQube ST : Here Is What You Need To Know

(Last Updated On: October 4, 2022)

Earlier this year, TVS had opened up bookings for a longer range version of the iQube electric scooter. While bookings are now closed, the company has not revealed the official prices yet. Likewise, we do not have any information on the delivery schedule. However, we do have access to changes made in this new model, the iQube ST. It will be the flagship e-scooter from TVS and will rub shoulders with options like the new updated Ather 450X, the Ola S1 Pro and the upcoming Simple One.

Bigger Battery

TVS already sells the iQube in standard and S versions. As compared to these two, the ST gets a bigger battery pack of 4.56 kWh. This is 50% larger as compared to the standard and S versions, thereby giving a longer riding range. TVS claims that the iQube ST will go as much as 145km in economy mode and 110km in power mode. For the other two lower models, the range is limited to 100km and 75km in economy and power modes respectively. While the acceleration of all versions is same, the top speed of the ST model is 82 km/h, slightly higher than 78 km/h on the lower two models

Other changes

The bigger battery also means the iQube ST weighs in at 128 kg and is about 10 kilos heavier than the lower models. Apart from that, TVS also offers a more powerful charger that allows you to charge the bigger battery from 0 to 80% in just 2 hrs and 30 mins via a 1500w unit. The ST will also get a unique Coral Sand Glossy colour as seen below.

Standard features

The ST version carries over all the features of the S model. This means you will get IP67 rated battery, LED lights all around, a 17.78cm touch-screen display, Bluetooth connectivity and OTA or over the air updates. Telematics include geo fencing, antitheft alert and live location status. The screen also offers features like navigation, incoming call alert et al. As expected, there is also a USB charger for your mobiles.

iQube ST Pricing

TVS has not revealed pricing for the top end ST version. At the same time, post subsidies, the standard versions sells at Rs 99,130 and the S version carries a price tag of Rs 1,04,123 – these prices are for Delhi. For the bigger battery ST model, we expect a premium of about Rs 25-30k, thereby taking the price to around Rs 1.3 lakh. Given the features including connectivity and touch-screen, and the reliable TVS brand name, the ST will still be good value for money.
