New Uber Auto Service In Ayodhya: What Is It?
Uber has commenced its new ride hailing service in Ayodhya. Starting January 14, 2024, Uber has started electric auto services in the city. This move from Uber comes right a week ahead of the Ram temple consecration which is being held on January 22, 2024. Uber flagged off the EV auto services in Ayodhya with UP’s Chief Minister, Yogi Aditynath.

Now, tourists visiting Ayodhya on, before, or after the temple inauguration will be able to use Uber’s electric auto for commutes. Uber’s latest move to add electric auto to its fleet is not only a part of its expansion plans in India, but also to offer a convenient and affordable ride solution to the devotees visiting the city and the Ram temple.
Uber currently has a large user base in India and numerous consumers are taking cab, bike, and auto services across different cities daily. After commencing the EV Auto services, Uber further has plans to launch UberGo as well as Uber Intercity services in the city. The former will be the most affordable Uber cab ride services, while the latter will allow inter-city travels between Ayodhya and other remaining cities in Uttar Pradesh.
