The Ultraviolette F77 sports electric motorcycle has been long awaited in India. We have all seen teasers and even track images and finally 24th of November is when the bike will go on sale in India. It will mark a new segment of performance e-bikes and will pave the way for more such green and mean machines in India. This urban sports bike was created and engineered in India, and it will be rolled out around the nation in phases, beginning in Bengaluru and moving on to other cities. In light of this, Ultraviolette is considering the F77’s debut in the US and Europe, thus focussing on Make-In-India.

The F77’s development and testing process spanned more than 5 years, and it has attracted 70,000 pre-launch booking inquiries from 190 countries. The three F77 variants, Airstrike, Shadow, and Laser, were each created to express a distinct identity and personality. All these three are visible below.
Ultraviolette has just started the F77’s production testing. The F77 is an electric motorcycle with the highest level of performance, powered by proprietary battery technology. It also has a tonne of hardware and software capabilities, including regenerative braking, dual-channel ABS, adjustable springs, and several drive modes. Ultraviolette has put the F77 through its paces for the past year on diverse terrains and in various weather patterns all throughout the nation. Over 90% of the vehicle, including the battery packs, will be produced using locally obtained materials and the F77 is designed and built locally.

The brand claims that the F77’s performance and riding characteristics are unmatched in India. However, the design appears stylish and angular. It has the most futuristic appearance an e-bike is capable of having. The motor’s precise specifications are still a secret. However, according to the company, this motor has a 33.5 horsepower maximum output. Additionally, the 90 Nm of torque produced is exceptional for this sector. Its reported top speed is 147 kmph. The Ultraviolette F77 is anticipated to cost around Rs 3 to 3.5 lakh (ex-showroom).
