Jeep Compass is one of the powerful SUVs available in India. Soon, the company could launch an all-electric variant of the Compass SUV in the country. Recently developments hints at the upcoming new-gen Compass E-SUV based on STLA M platform which has been designed by Stellantis (Jeep’s parent company). Jeep Compass Electric SUV India Launch: This Is The Timeline
As per the available information online, the Jeep Compass SUV electric variant will be launching in India by 2026. However, the exact moth or date is not announced as of now. Jeep has been working on its EV strategy since 2023 and is likely to expand its presence across the EV sector in India going forward.
As of now, the pricing details have been kept under the wraps since the e-SUV is still in the development phase. However, it could be introduced in the Indian market with a starting price range over Rs. 30 lakh.

According to the leaks, Jeep will use its parent company (Stellantis’) STLA Medium platform for the Compass EV. Stellantis had introduced this new architecture last year itself. It offers a wide flexibility with not just EV but also petrol and diesel drivetrains. The Jeep Compass electric SUV could come with both FWD (Front Wheel Drive) and AWD (All Wheel Drive) capabilities.
This premium electric SUV’s motor could produce up to 388 hp of peak power. It is expected to be driven by up to 98 kWh battery module with a claimed range delivery of around 500 km on a full charge. The Compass EV with Performance pack is further expected to offer a higher range of 700 km per charge. As for the battery charging duration, it is claimed to be around 27 minutes for a refuel from 20- 80 percent.
