Vivo launched an entirely new “T” smartphone lineup for the Indian audience recently. The Vivo T1 5G arrived as the first model in this affordable 5G Vivo smartphone series which soon will be joined by its high-end sibling, i.e, the Vivo VT1 Pro 5G. The development of the Pro T1 model has been leaked a couple of times online. Now, the Vivo T1 Pro 5G’s expected India launch has been tipped.
Vivo T1 Pro 5G India Launch Revealed Via New Leak
The Vivo T1 Pro 5G might launch sometime in May 2022 in India. A report via Onsitego has shared the expected launch timeline of the next Vivo T series phone for the Indian market. The exact date is not revealed by the leak. However, with just a few weeks remaining, either Vivo or some other source could confirm the T1 Pro 5G’s India launch.
Vivo T1 Pro 5G Price In India, Key Specifications
While the Vivo T1 Pro 5G’s official launch timeline has been revealed, its pricing details are kept at large. There are possibilities that Vivo keeps the pricing of the Pro model slightly higher compared to the standard Vivo T1 5G. Rumors are rife that the Vivo T1 Pro 5G might carry a sub Rs. 20,000 price tag in the country.
However, this pricing is based on speculations and the actual retail price of the Vivo T1 Pro 5G might vary. We can expect the handset to be available for purchase via both online and offline retail stores in the country. But whether the device will be sold via Amazon or Flipkart is yet to be confirmed.
As for the expected specifications, the Vivo T1 Pro 5G is rumored to be driven by the Snapdragon 778G octa-core processor. To recap, the standard Vivo T1 5G also uses a Qualcomm chipset but a different one (Snapdragon 695 5G SoC). This is one prominent change we would get to see on the Vivo T1 Pro 5G compared to the standard T1 5G.
The leaks have also hinted up to 8GB RAM for the T1 Pro 5G. We can expect it to be combined with either a 128GB or 256GB storage configuration. This Vivo smartphone will be loaded with Android 12 OS which will be topped with a custom FunTouch OS. The remaining T1 Pro 5G hardware including the display and camera hardware is also under the wraps. But it shouldn’t be long before the rumor mill starts pouring in additional details related to the Vivo T1 Pro 5G specifications and availability in India.
