Vivo is all set to launch new smartphone series in India on May 18. The Vivo X80 series is expected to be the successor of the Vivo X70 series that was launched in October 2021. Notably, the X80 smartphone series is already available in China.
For the unaware, the Vivo X80 Pro and the Vivo X80 are already available, whereas Vivo X80 Pro has been launched recently. The upcoming device will be available on Flipkart as the microsite is already live and it is expected that it will have the best camera. Let’s move to the specifications of the devices.
Vivo X80 Pro Smartphone: Specifications
The Vivo X80 Pro has a 120Hz 6.78-inch E5 2K AMOLED display. It will have two processors such as Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC and MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processors. The microsite only mentioned that it will have Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor for India along with 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB internal storage in the country.
Besides, the device will have a quad rear camera, including a 50MP main camera, 58MP ultra-wide lens, 12MP portrait camera, and an 8MP telephoto lens. In addition, the device will have a 32MP camera on the front and it has been engineered by Zeiss optics. The smartphone draws power from a 4,700mAh battery along with 80W wired fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging.
Vivo X80 Smartphone: Specifications
On the other hand, the Vivo X80 smartphone will have a 6.78-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display along with a 120Hz screen refresh rate. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor that is paired with 8GB/ 12GB of RAM and 128/ 256GB of storage.
On the optics front, the device will have a 50MP main camera, 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and 12MP telephoto lens. The smartphone also supports 20x digital zoom and there will be a 32MP camera on the front. It is backed by a 4,500mAh battery along with 80W fast charging without any wireless charging.
It is important to note that the Vivo X80 Pro will be priced at CNY 5499 in its hometown and that is close to Rs. 64,350, while Vivo will cost you CNY 3,699, which is close to Rs. 43,300. However, the pricing and sale date of the devices will be shared on May 18th.
