Vivo is getting prepped up to revamp its “V” series. Two new models are said to be in the pipeline for an upcoming launch. The Vivo V23 and the Vivo V23 Pro will be joining the Vivo V23e sometime soon. The latter was recently stopped by Google Play Console and is rumored to be a tweaked version of the Vivo S12 Pro. The latter has also got certified via multiple portals indicating an imminent launch in India and other regions.
Vivo V23 Clears BIS, SIRIM Certifications Ahead Of Upcoming Launch
The rumored Vivo V23 5G bearing V2130 model number has cleared its certification via BIS (Bureau Of Indian Standards). This certification hints at an upcoming India launch. That’s not it, the device has also bagged its certification via SIRIM (Standard and Industrial Research Institute of Malaysia). As the name suggests, the device is headed to the Malaysian market as well.
Not much has been revealed via both the certification platforms related to the Vivo V23 5G’s hardware. The rumor mill has also not shared much insight on the same. However, some reports state that it will be packed with upgraded internals (camera and chipset) compared to the V23e 5G. This is just speculation and no authentic source has confirmed this piece of information.
Nevertheless, we do expect some major upgrades from its predecessor, i.e, the Vivo V21 5G. We are also waiting to be sure if the company will be using a MediaTek Dimensity series chipset similar to the Pro model or will pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor instead.
While the vanilla Vivo V23’s features are a mystery, a recent Google Play Console listing tipped some of the V23 Pro’s key features. The Pro model will be using the Dimensity 1200 chipset to perform all the tasks including gaming. This handset is rumored to ship with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage capacity.
The handset’s leaked renders showed a punch-hole display with a slim bezel profile. On the other hand, the Play Console listing also hinted at an FHD+ display with 1080 x 2376 pixels screen resolution and 440 nits peak brightness levels.
