Many brands are driving the market for foldable smartphones forward. Since last year, the BBK Electronics company has been aggressively pursuing this market. Several foldable smartphones have already been released by its brands Oppo and Vivo, and more are on the way. Vivo will move to its second generation, which will also introduce a new variation called the Vivo X Flip, while OnePlus and Realme are expected to join soon. Vivo launched its first horizontally folding phone, the Vivo X Fold, last year. A vivo device with model code V2256A, thought to be the vivo X Flip, went through Geekbench, disclosing key specifications even though vivo hasn’t said anything about its launch yet.

The Vivo X Flip is expected to have a large outer display and a stunning design similar to the Vivo X series. The interior display will be 6.8 inches diagonally, with a 120 Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution.
A 4,400 mAh battery with 44W fast charging is expected. At the back of the phone, there will be two cameras: a 50 MP (IMX866) camera and a 12 MP ultrawide camera.
Android 13 is installed on the phone, which is not surprising. We anticipate FuntouchOS 13 to be running on top of it. The phone is expected to have 12 GB of RAM. With the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 Processor, it appears that the Vivo X Flip will be another clamshell foldable phone.
The Oppo Find N2 Flip and the Galaxy Z series both use the same Processor. It appears that the first clamshell foldable using the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 will have to wait a little longer. But, it’s important to note that the future Vivo X Fold 2 will include the most recent Qualcomm Processor.

Vivo X Flip Phone: Availability
According to reports, the vivo X Flip is expected to be introduced in China in April. Given that the Vivo X Fold launched in April of last year, there is good evidence that the new devices will be released within the upcoming month.
