Vivo today announced the flagship X80 smartphone lineup in India. The latest models announced in the flagship Android lineup are the Vivo X80 and the X80 Pro. The new-generation Vivo X series smartphones have been launched with top-notch hardware such as Snapdragon 8 Gen 1/ Dimensity 9000 chipset, ZEISS cameras, 80W fast charging, and a dedicated V1+ imaging chipset for improved camera performance. The Vivo X80 and the X80 Pro’s specifications along with pricing and availability details are mentioned below.
Standard Vivo X80 Full Specifications India
As mentioned above, Vivo has launched two models in the X80 series including the vanilla and the X80 Pro model. The standard Vivo X80 has been announced with a gigantic 6.78-inch display that is an AMOLED panel. The high-resolution display on the vanilla Vivo X80 supports 1080 x 2400 pixels screen resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It is also HDR certified and sports a punch-hole camera cutout that houses a massive 32MP selfie snapper.
The Vivo X80’s imaging hardware comprises a triple-lens module at the back which is ZEISS-labelled. The main camera on the X80 is a 50MPSony IMX866 RGBW lens with an f/1.75 aperture. The main sensor here is accompanied by a pair of 12MP sensors for ultra-wide-angle frames and depth mapping.
At its core, the Vivo X80 uses the latest Dimensity 9000 processor as its brain of operations. The handset also has a liquid cooling vapor chamber and an X-axis linear motor for improved haptic feedback with gaming. You can select the device from up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage configuration. The firmware pre-installed is Android 12 topped with a custom OriginOS UI. The battery powering the Vivo X80 is a 4,500 mAh unit that combines 80W fast charging technology.
Vivo X80 Pro Key Features And Specifications
The Vivo X80 Pro is packed with some upgraded set of features compared to the vanilla Vivo X80. This model is driven by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. This model is also available with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage capacity. The top-end Vivo model is packed with a quad-camera setup featuring a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL GNV primary sensor.
Accompanying the main lens is a 48MP Sony IMX598 ultrawide sensor, a 12MP Sony IMX663 lens, and an 8MP ultra-telephoto lens. The selfie snapper and the Android version is the same as the standard X80. Notably, both Vivo X80 and the X80 Pro also have an in-display fingerprint scanner for biometrics and IP68 certification. The battery capacity on the Vivo X80 Pro is slightly bigger at 4,700 mAh. The fast charging speeds is 80W (wired) and 50W (wireless).

Vivo has announced the vanilla Vivo X80 starting at Rs. 54,999 for the 8GB+ 128GB model and Rs. 59,999 for the 12GB+ 256GB storage model. On the other hand, the Vivo X80 Pro can be purchased in a single 12GB RAM+ 256GB storage configuration at Rs. 79,999. The standard X80 can be purchased in Cosmic Black and Urban Blue shades, while the X80 Pro comes in a single Cosmic Black color option. The Vivo X80 series will be made available for sale starting May 25 in India. Both Vivo X80 and the X80 Pro will be up for grabs via Flipkart and major brick-and-mortar stores.
