Vivo X90 series debuted internationally earlier this year. Now, Vivo is set to expand this premium X smartphone lineup in India too with the X90 and the X90 Pro soon. Amidst all the rumors, Vivo has now confirmed the launch timeline for its advanced camera phones in the country. The new Vivo X90 series is finally breaking covers this month in India. Vivo X90 Series Official India Launch Confirmed In April
Vivo has scheduled the official launch of the Vivo X90 in India on April 26, 2023. Vivo has also updated the product page of the upcoming premium X series phones on its official India website. Vivo has only revealed the launch date for the X90 and the X90 Pro in India. The brand could possibly update the product page with more features and specs in the coming days.
Currently, the official teaser have also kept the pricing details under the wraps. However, we speculate the initial launch price could start within Rs. 60,000 to Rs. 70,000 price range. This is just an anticipated price range and Vivo could launch the X90 and the X90 Pro with a different price label. As for the spec-sheet, that will remain identical to the international variants. No differences in the spec-sheet or the design is expected. That said, below are the quick specifications of the X90 and the X90 Pro.

The Vivo X90 and the X90 Pro have identical set of features and only bears minimal hardware differences. The chipset powering the Vivo X90 series is the same, i.e., the octa-core Dimensity 9200 chipset clubbed with Immortalis-G715 GPU. Both these new Vivo X series phones will be available with up to 12GB LPDDR% RAM and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. Besides the chipset, only the fast charging speeds of 120W is identical on both Vivo X90 series phones.

The display panel offered by the vanilla Vivo X90 is a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with 1260 x 2800 pixels resolution. The Vivo X90 Pro also has the same screen size and panel but a higher 2K screen resolution. The screen on both X90 and the X90 Pro supports HDR 10+ and 120Hz refresh rate.

The Vivo X series is well known for its potent camera hardware which is evident with the new lineup too. The vanilla Vivo X90 features a 50MP main Sony IMX866 main lens with an f/1.75 aperture, a 12MP depth lens with an f/2.0 aperture and 2x optical zoom. Lastly, the rear panel on the X90 also features another 12MP ultrawide lens with an f/2.0 aperture.
The triple lens camera hardware on the Vivo X90 Pro is slightly altered compared to the vanilla model. The Vivo X90 Pro features a 50MP main camera with an f/1.75 aperture, a 12MP depth lens, a secondary 50MP depth lens with 1.6 aperture, and a 12MP ultrawide lens with an f/2.0 aperture.
