Vivo has silently announced the launch of its new smartphone in several markets. The specifications and price of the Vivo YO1 has been leaked in February. The smartphone maker has officially introduced the smartphone in the global markets.

It is worth noting that the smartphone runs Android 11 OS and eyeing African markets. Besides, the device features come with a curved body along with a textured back panel. Besides, the device features a single AI-enabled camera along with an LED flash and square camera module.

Notably, the design is similar to the Vivo Y15s smartphone that was launched in January this year. So, let’s find out the specifications of the device.

Vivo Y01 Smartphone: Specifications And Features

The newly launched smartphone comes with 6.51-inch water-drop notch display, HD+ resolution with 1600 x 720 pixels, and LCD panel. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio P35 processor that is paired with 2GB of RAM+ 32GB of storage and 3GB of RAM+ 32GB of storage. There is also a microSD slot that allows you to expand storage support.

On the imaging front, the device comes with an 8MP camera along with an f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. There is also a 5MP camera and LED flash. In addition, the camera comes with modes like time-lapse, face beauty, and more.

Moreover, the device has FunTouch OS 11.1 based on Android 11 Go Edition. The device comes with a battery backup 5,000mAh battery along with a 10W charging speed.

On the connectivity front, the device supports dual-SIM support, Bluetooth v5.0, Wi-Fi 2.4GHz/5GHz Wi-Fi, and 4G. There is also reverse wired charging support; however, the company has not announced the pricing and the availability of the device. Besides, the device is available in two colour options: Sapphire Blue and Elegant Black.
