Vivo has announced the launch of a new smartphone on Friday. The Vivo Y21e smartphone comes at a pocket-friendly price and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor. It has a 5,000 mAh battery along with a reverse charging feature. Currently, it comes with only one configuration.
According to the company the smartphone was launched for millennials and provides best-in-class features. The device also has Eye Protection Mode and Face Wake to unlock the device.
Vivo Y21e Smartphone: Specifications
The smartphone comes with a 6.51-inch HD+ LCD Halo Full View Display. It has dual-SIM and runs Android 120 based Funtouch OS 12. The smartphone features Eye Protection Mode to prevent harmful blue light. Under the hood, the Vivo Y21e comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor.
The smartphone has 3GB of RAM along with an option of extending by 0.5GB. In addition, the device includes Multi Turbo 5.0, which is expected to increase data connection, power-saving performance, and system processor. Besides, the updated Ultra Game Mode is claimed to provide an increased gaming experience.
On the optics front, it has a dual-camera setup, including a 13MP camera along with an f/2.2 lens and a 2MP macro camera along with an f/2.4 lens. On the front, the device supports an 8MP camera for selfies and video calling. Also, it has features like Super HDR, Face Beauty mode, and Personalized Portrait Mode.
The smartphone also has 64GB of storage along with a microSD card slot. But, it is worth noting that Vivo does not share the details of the increased storage capacity. Also, the smartphone packs a 5,000 mAh battery along with 18W fast charge support.
There will be a reverse charging feature, which can be used to charge other devices like smartphones and earphones. The device also has a Face Wake feature so that you can unlock the device. On the connectivity front, it has connectivity front, the device has Bluetooth v5, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, USB Type-C port.
It also has sensors like a proximity sensor, e-compass, accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, GPS, Beidou, GLONASS, Galileo, and QZSS. The device weighs 182 grams and measures 164.26×76.08×8.00mm.

The device will cost you Rs. 12,990 for the 3GB of RAM and 64GB of storage variant. The device can be purchased at the company’s online store from January 14th, 2022 and will be available in two colours: such as Diamond Glow and Midnight Blue.
