In order to increase its average revenue per user, Reliance Jio has increased the price of the tariffs by 20 percent. In fact, the price of the all JioPhone recharge plans and now plans start from Rs. 186. Notably, these plans used to start from Rs. 155 that goes up to Rs. 749.

However, all three plans of Rs. 155, Rs. 185, and Rs. 749 were introductory plans and were launched for a limited period. However, after the 20 percent hike, the first plan will cost you Rs. 155 and goes up to Rs. 186. The Rs. 185 plan is now priced at Rs. 222 and last will cost you Rs. 899 instead of Rs. 749.

Reliance Jio New JioPhone Plans: Details

The first plan of Rs. 186 offers 1GB of data per day and offers for 28 days. This pack offers unlimited calling on all networks and 100 messages per day. This pack used to cost you Rs. 155. The other plan of Rs. 222 offers 2GB of data per day; however, the speed will be reduced to 64 kbps for 28 days.

This pack also includes unlimited calling on all networks and 100 messages per day. The last pack of Rs. 899 offers 24GB of data for 336 days. In addition, this pack offers 2GB of data for 28 days after that this pack will renew. Apart from this offer, this pack offers 50 messages and free calling for 28 days. It includes content and service offers.

It is important to note that Reliance Jio is known for launching affordable packs. However, we believe that this hike might affect its user base as these packs have been designed for low income users. So, this step might affect the growth of the company.
